Odyssey Vader electric bike launched in India:- Mumbai-based startup Odyssey Electric has launched its electric bike Vader (VADER) in the Indian market. The company has introduced it at an ex-showroom price of ₹1.10 lakh in Ahmedabad. It is being made available across India through the company’s official website and dealerships.
The bike can be booked by anyone through the company’s official website, odysse.in, by paying a token amount of ₹999. In case one decides not to take the bike after booking, the token amount is fully refundable.
Odyssey Vader Electric Bike: Battery, Range, and Performance
The Odyssey Vader is equipped with a 3000-watt electric motor, which has a top speed of 85 km/h. The bike comes with a 3.7 kWh AIS 156 approved lithium-ion battery pack. The company claims that the battery fully charges in 4 hours and provides a range of 125 km on a single charge. This electric bike features three riding modes.
Odyssey Vader Electric Bike: Safety and Features
The Odyssey Vader electric bike comes with a 7.0-inch Android display with Bluetooth connectivity, which includes Google Maps navigation features. Additionally, it has features like an app bike locator, immobilization, anti-theft, track and trace, and low battery alert.
The bike is equipped with disc brakes on both wheels along with a combined braking system. The company is offering a 3-year warranty on the battery and powertrain of this electric bike.
Currently, Odyssey Electric Vehicles has 68 dealers across the country.
During the bike launch, Odyssey Electric Vehicles’ CEO Nemin Vora said, “I am happy to introduce a technologically advanced electric bike. Our goal is to provide sustainable and affordable mobility that can be accessed by everyone.
We are planning to launch an electric scooter in the third quarter of 2024. Along with that, we intend to increase our dealership network from 68 to over 150 by the end of the year. We hope that this initiative will result in at least a 300% increase in our sales.”
