Delhi Capitals (DC) have lost another match in IPL 2023. After losing to Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi had to face defeat at the hands of Gujarat Titans.
DC vs GT, TATA IPL 2023:- Gujarat Titans (GT) have registered their second consecutive win in IPL 2023. Gujarat defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) by 6 wickets on Tuesday. DC had set a target of 163 runs, which GT chased down in 18.1 overs by losing only 4 wickets. Sai Sudarshan and David Miller exposed the bowlers of DC.
Sudarshan played an unbeaten knock of 62 runs with the help of 4 fours and 2 sixes off 48 balls. Meanwhile, Miller scored an unbeaten 31 runs off 16 balls, hitting 2 fours and 2 sixes. Both of them shared an unbroken partnership of 56 runs for the fifth wicket. It should be noted that this is DC’s second consecutive loss in the tournament.
Gujarat Titans did not have a great start. Opener Riddhiman Saha (14) was bowled by Enrique Norquia in the third over. Subhman Gill (14) also did not perform well and was bowled by Norquia in the fifth over. Captain Hardik Pandya’s (5) bat did not work and he got trapped in Khalil Ahmed’s web in the sixth over.
After this, Sudarshan and Vijay Shankar (29 off 23 balls) formed a 53-run partnership for the fourth wicket and took Gujarat past the hundred mark. Shankar was caught LBW by Mitchell Marsh in the 14th over at a score of 107. From here, Sudarshan and Miller took charge and steered the team to victory.

Prior to this, Delhi lost 8 wickets and scored 162 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Losing the toss and choosing to bat, Delhi started off on a steady note. David Warner (37 off 32 balls with 7 fours) and Prithvi Shaw (7) added 29 runs for the first wicket. Mitchell Marsh failed to contribute with the bat. Sarfaraz Khan scored runs at a slow pace, playing a knock of 30 runs off 34 balls with 2 fours. Riley Rossouw remained unsuccessful. Abhishek Porwal scored 20 runs off 11 balls.
DC lost 6 wickets and were bowled out for 130 runs. Akshar Patel, who came in at number seven, played a splendid knock, scoring 36 runs off 22 balls including 2 fours and 3 sixes. Aman Khan (8) was dismissed cheaply, while Enrique Nortje (4) and Kuldeep Yadav (1) remained unbeaten. Mohammad Shami and Rashid Khan took three wickets each for GT, while Alzarri Joseph claimed two wickets.

- At 11:30, Gujarat won the match by 6 wickets. Miller scored the winning runs. Miller made 31 runs in 16 balls while Sudarshan remained unbeaten with 62 runs off 48 balls.
- 11:15: Sudarshan has scored a half-century (59*) by completing 50 runs in 44 balls. In the 17th over, Sudarshan hit a four and a six off Norquia, adding 12 runs to the score.
- At 11:10, Sudarshan is on 47 and Miller is on 21 runs in their individual score. Miller played aggressively in the 16th over, hitting two sixes and a four against Mukesh Kumar. Mukesh gave away 20 runs in the over.
